1751

Painted in blue on the base of an undecorated moulded tureen (whereabouts unknown). 1


1753

TB1753 inscribed on base of a coffee cup. 1


1758

C.S.1758 painted on the base of a “toy” tea service decorated with the “prunus root” pattern. Known pieces include: Sucrier, cover and saucer. Tea bowl and saucer. 1


1764

P.W.1764 on a fragment of an undecorated mug, found during excavation of the Worcester factory site. 1


1766

FINE TEA 1766 in blue on an octagonal tea caddy (whereabouts unknown). 1

W*M 1766 on the base of a tea service decorated with the “Cannon Ball” pattern. Known pieces include: Tea Bowl and saucer, and a teapot. 1


1769

PETER TAYLOR 1769 painted in a cartouche on a small bell-shaped mug. 1


1770

FRANCES JAMES 1770 painted in a cartouche on a pair of straight-sided mugs. 1

1771 SAML.SHERRIFF IN UPTON,1771 painted in a double cartouche including the arms of the Foresters’ Company on the side of a bell-shaped mug. 1,2

1772 incised on the base of a pierced basket decorated with the “Pine Cone Group” pattern. 1

WILLIAM PEACEY 1774 painted below the handle of a bell-shaped mug decorated with the “gilliflower” pattern. 2

S&B 1776 painted in a cartouche on the3 side of a straight-sided mug. 1

I R 1776 in script blue on the unglazed base of an inkwell. 1

W B 1776 decorated on the side of a small straight-sided mug. 1

W.T. 1776 painted on the interior base of a small beaker decorated with flowers and sprigs. W T is also painted on the base. 2

SAMUEL ALLEN, BANBURY, 1776 painted on a baluster mug decorated with the ‘ gillyflower pattern ‘. 3

ANN.DUNN.BIRMINGHAM 1776 (or variations of) inscribed in blue script on six pieces all decorated with “St George and the Dragon” pattern and all inscribed by the same hand. 1,2,4
